About me
As a big city girl, born and raised in Berlin, Germany, my life took an unexpected turn when I relocated to the West Coast of Canada in my thirties.
From a young age, I immersed myself in the world of dance, actively competing in latin and ballroom competitions alongside my devoted parents. Weekends were a whirlwind of traveling across Germany for these exhilarating events, and regardless of the outcome, we always found ourselves seeking solace in the welcoming embrace of local restaurants. These culinary havens became more than just places to dine; they served as a stage for my family to bond, creating treasured memories that still resonate with me today.
Now, being a parent myself, I wholeheartedly comprehend the significance of those precious moments. I now understand why moms relish their coffee time with their best friends, or why, at times, they simply yearn for the respite of dining out without the burdens of preparing yet another family meal.
